The City of Durham will open sealed formal Bids submitted by qualified Bidders at 10:30 AM, December 16th

2024, for Contract 18373, Project: Water Lines Replacement Project Various Locations: Albany St.,

Peachtree Pl, Gattis St., & 33 Alley at the Department of Water Management Training Room A, 1600

Mist Lake Drive, Durham, North Carolina.  The Project involves the furnishing of all materials, labor,

equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete installation of Albany Street: 247 LF

of new 8-inch DIP, fittings, valves, appurtenances, residential connections, existing water system tie in,

and abandonment of the existing line. Peachtree Place: 617 LF of new 8-inch DIP, 101 LF of 12-inch DIP,

fittings, valves, appurtenances, residential connections, existing water system tie in, and abandonment

of the existing line. Gattis Street: 379 LF of new 6-inch DIP, fittings, valves, appurtenances, residential

connections, and existing water system tie-ins & 33 Alley Street: Not to be constructed.

The foregoing description shall not be construed as a complete description of all work required.

Beginning 9:00 AM, Thursday, November 14th 2024, the Contract Documents may be reviewed online and be

obtained from Accent Imaging, 8121 Brownleigh Drive, Raleigh, NC27617, (919 782-3332), or at

WWW.Accentimaging.com . A hard copy of the plans, contract, or electronic files may be obtained at a

non-refundable fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) plus sales tax and delivery for hard copies and

digital copies, for Fifty dollars ($50.00) plus sales tax and delivery for digital copies only. Plans must be

purchased through Accent Imaging to be on the bidders list.

The Project Manual including Bidding Documents, Contract Documents, and Technical Specifications,

including the drawings, will also be on file at the following locations:

·         McGraw Hill Dodge Plan Room, Raleigh and Charlotte, NC

·         NC Institute of Minority Economic Development, 114 W. Parrish Street, Durham, NC

To be sure all bidders are kept up to date on any Addenda, changes, or information notices please send

Project.  Failure to complete this step may render your Bid non-responsive.

Bidders are encouraged to attend the non-mandatory pre-Bid conference at 1:30 PM, November 21st , 2024, at the North Durham Water Reclamation Facility Training Room, 1900 East Club Blvd, Durham, North Carolina.
