Sealed Bids will be received until 2:00, Thursday, August 15, 2024, at One Exchange Plaza, 6th Floor Conference Room, Raleigh, NC 27601, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the construction of the Priority One Pump Station Upgrades project.

 

After Bids are opened, the Owner shall evaluate them in accordance with the methods and criteria set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner/City Council reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the Bid Form for the performance of the Contract.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 9:00, Wednesday, July 10 at Neuse River Resource Recovery Facility 8500 Battle Bridge Road, Raleigh, NC 27610. Non-mandatory site visits will be conducted following the pre-bid meeting based on the following schedule, however, no other site visits prior to receiving bids will be allowed.

10:30-11 Indian Creek (PS 86)

11:30-12:00 Gannon (PS 152)

1:30-2:00 Brighton (PS 40)

2:00-2:30 Wake High Meadows (PS 102)

3:00-3:30 Brownleigh (PS 19)

 

Requirements for pre-bid submittals of an “or-equal” are required within 10 days of the issuance of the Advertisement for Bids and in accordance with Section 00200, Instructions to Bidders.

 

The Project consists generally of the following major items: Brighton (PS 40) pump station upgrades Brownleigh (PS 19) pump station upgrades

Indian Creek (PS 86) pump station upgrades

Wake High Meadows (PS 102) pump station upgrades Gannon (PS 152) pump station upgrades
