The Town of Apex reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.

An open pre-bid meeting, STRONGLY ENCOURAGED for all General Contractors interested in bidding, will be held at 1:00pm on November 25th, 2024 at the site in Apex, NC. Sub-contractor Visit to follow pre-bid meeting until 3:30pm. The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures and bid forms. The meeting is also to identify add alternates, as well as preferred brand alternates and their performance standards that the owner will consider for approval on this project. In accordance with GS133-3 procedures the following preferred brand items are being considered as Alternates by the owner for this project:

Alternate G-02: Shall Include Owner’s Preferred Manufacturer Pine Hall Brick, Pathway series, Color Autumn

Alternate G-03: Shall Include Owner’s preferred Manufacturer Triangle Brick, Cape Cod, Engineer size.

Alternate G-04: Shall Include Owner’s Preferred Manufacturer Nichiha Fiber Cement Savannah Smooth Premium Plank siding

Alternate G-05: Shall Include Owner’s Preferred Manufacturer Nichha Nichitrim, smooth finish

Alternate G-06: Shall Include Owner’s Preferred Manufacturer Nichha Nichsoffit, solid smooth finish

Alternate No. G-07: Shall Include Owner’s Preferred Manufacturer and model (Barron Lighting Group, NY900C Series) for emergency & exit light.

Alternate No. G-08: Alternate No. G-08: Shall Include Owner’s Preferred Manufacturer Schlage B563R Classroom Deadbolt with full size interchangeable core, Color: Antique Brass.
