Sealed Bids will be received until 2:00 PM on January 16, 2025, at Raleigh Municipal Building, 222 W. Hargett St., 3rd floor conference room, Raleigh, NC 27601, at which time and place bids will be opened for the construction of the Leesville Road Community Park and Strickland Road Neighborhood Park Improvements project. Bid will be open publicly and read aloud.

After Bids are opened, the Owner shall evaluate them in accordance with the methods and criteria set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner/City Council reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the Bid Form for the performance of the Contract.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 2:00 PM on December 17, 2024, at Leesville Rd. Park, 5105 Country Trail, Raleigh, NC 27613. We will travel to Strickland Road Park immediately following the meeting at Leesville Road Park.

The Project consists generally of the following major items:

Leesville Road Community Park (5105 Country Trail, Raleigh, NC):

Removal and disposal of existing temporary restroom trailer including deck, ramp and steps, site work prep related to new prefabricated restroom and playground improvements, utility connections for new restroom, Electric Vehicle charging stations, and concrete and asphalt paving. Prefabricated restroom building and playground equipment and surfacing will be by others.

Strickland Road Neighborhood Park (12804 Strickland Road, Raleigh, NC:

Site work prep related to new prefabricated restroom and playground improvements, public utility extensions, site utility connections for new restroom, Electric Vehicle charging stations, and concrete and asphalt paving. Prefabricated restroom building and playground surfacing will be by others.

Questions will be received ONLY in written form. The deadline to submit written questions to WithersRavenel is 5:00 pm local prevailing time on January 6, 2025. A final addendum will be released no later than 5:00 PM on January 9, 2025.
