Selma Wastewater Flow Equalization and Pumping Facility Improvements

 

Sealed Bids for construction of the Selma Wastewater Flow Equalization and Pumping Facility Improvements project will be received by Johnston County at the Conference Room in the Land Use Center (309 E. Market Street) in Smithfield, NC until 2PM, Thursday, July 11, 2024 and at that time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The project involves modifications to an existing sanitary sewage pump station. The work generally consists of constructing a new headworks facility consisting of a mechanical screen and grit removal, a 4.5 mgd triplex submersible sewage Effluent pump station, an 11 mgd triplex Equalization pump station, valve vaults, flow meter vaults, a pre-engineering building for electrical gear, yard pipe, diesel generator and various other improvements.

 

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10am on Thursday May 30, 2024 at the Conference Room in the Land Use Center (309 E. Market Street) in Smithfield, NC. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory for potential bidders that plan to submit a Bid. After the pre-bid conference, the Selma Flow Equalization and Pumping Facility will be available for an optional site visit.

A printed copy of the Bid Documents plus electronic files may be obtained for a non-refundable fee of four hundred dollars ($400). An electronic copy of the Bid Documents in Portable Document Format can be obtained at no charge.

 

To remain up to date on any Addenda, please send an email to hilderhoffsr@cdmsmith.com indicating your intent to submit a Bid. Supply the following information: Company name, contact person, street address, phone number, and email address to receive Addenda; indicate if the firm will be a Prime bidder, Supplier or Sub- contractor. Failure to complete this step may render your Bid non- responsive.
