Sealed Bids will be received until 3:00 pm local prevailing time on Wednesday, October 30th, 2024, at Timmons Group’s Raleigh office: 5410 Trinity Rd., Suite 102, Raleigh, NC 27607. This project is being bid informally; bids will NOT be opened at a public meeting for the construction of the Lake Wheeler Road Park ADA Improvements project.
After Bids are opened, the Owner shall evaluate them in accordance with the methods and criteria set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner/City Council reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the Bid Form for the performance of the Contract.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10am on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024 at 6404 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh, NC 27603 at the project site under pavilion closest to the road.
Questions will be received ONLY in written form. The deadline to submit written questions to the Landscape Architect is 5:00pm local prevailing time on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024.
Requirements for pre-bid submittals of an “or-equal” are required within [10 if changed from “10”, coordinate with 00200, Article 11] days of the issuance of the Advertisement for Bids and in accordance with Section 00200, Instructions to Bidders.
The Project consists generally of the following major items:
Demolition, clearing, grading, and site preparation for: Two ADA Parking spaces connected to existing asphalt road, and connecting concrete sidewalks . Refer to drawings and project manual for complete description of project scope.
With each request for Bidding Documents supply the following information: Company name, contact person, street address, phone number, and email address for Bidding point of contact; N. C. contractor’s license with limitation and classification; indicate if the firm will be a Prime bidder, Supplier or Sub-Contractor.
