ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Pursuant to NC G.S. 143-129, sealed Bids for the construction of the Belville Riverwalk Phase 2 project will be received by Town of Belville, at 63 River Road, Belville, NC 28451 until 10:00 AM local time on April 10, 2025, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bids may be submitted by mail, FedEx, UPS or courier. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
Development of a walking trail, timber boardwalk, and a riverwalk over the marsh with a gazebo. The project includes earthwork, erosion control, boardwalk construction, and permitting with AHJs.

Questions will be received ONLY in written form. The deadline to submit written questions to WithersRavenel is 5:00 pm local prevailing time on April 4, 2025. A final addendum will be released no later than 5:00 PM on March 20, 2025.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM local time on March 11, 2025 at The Belville Riverwalk Park located at 580 River Road, Belville, NC 28451. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is strongly encouraged. We will meet in the parking lot for the meeting, then walk the site as feasible.
A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days consecutive calendar days after bid opening except as provided in Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the state(s) in which the work is to be completed.
